Prime Natural Resources, Inc. is a private equity firm located in Houston, Texas, that is wholly owned by a private financial institution based in New York. Our focus is on businesses that are in, or have the potential to enter a growth phase. Our current businesses fall into three major categories: exploration and production, manufacturing and agribusiness.

History
Formed in 1997 as an oil and gas exploration and production company, Prime Natural Resources developed a portfolio of U.S., South American and Middle Eastern assets. By 2007, we had successfully developed and sold the majority of our E&P assets. As we continue to grow, our company has expanded its investment criteria to capitalize on our expertise in private equity management.
Today, we are a well-funded private company with access to substantial capital and an attractive business portfolio. While the majority of our investments are energy-related, we pursue compelling value-creation opportunities across a variety of industries.
