Mr. Restrepo has more than 7 years of experience with industrial projects executed in Latin America, the U.S. and the Middle East. His experience includes legal advisory, financial structuring, environmental compliance, procurement and contracting activities in projects related to the development and operation of oil and gas facilities, refineries, pipelines, transportation systems, and telecommunications.

He also has experience in the drafting, negotiation, interpretation and execution of production sharing agreements with various governmental entities, as well as with public and private entities involved in diverse projects in the oil and gas industry. He's participated in negotiating international agreements involving both public and private investors and multilateral financing entities in an M&A context.

Before joining our team, Mr. Restrepo served as associate and partner in private law firms in Colombia as well as Contracts Manager and General Counsel for Meta Petroleum, Ltd., a venture operating the Rubiales oilfield (heavy oil) in the llanos basin (Colombia). He is fluent in English and Spanish.
